How did you discover collage?
I’ve been doing collage for a really long time, but in the beginning, it was more for color test and quick sketches. But in the winter of 2019, I deepened my approach in this direction and started big thematic series.
What did you like about the collage medium?
This is a really instinctive technique. We save the drying time too. You can mix different styles, different materials and create interesting textures.
How would you describe your style?
Theatrical, told a story, an emotion, it must be a show! If I’m please to look at it, it’s done.
In one word, what makes you unique?
Scenographic.
Where do you find you collage material? What are your favorite magazines?
I get a lot of donations, but a also buy a lot of new or old books, arts book, decorating magazines. I choose them, when I like a book, I can buy 6 copies.
Any advice for a newcomer collagist?
To listen yourself, no one else, you can ask opinions, but it’s your creation! Don’t be afraid to trust our instinct. Don’t compare yourself.
