How did you discover collage?
I discovered collage in University, when I took a painting class taught by David Elliot and who introduced us to this technic.
What do you like about the collage medium?
It’s a tool that allowed me lead me to learn and develop my own visual language as there is so much possibility and freedom in this technicque. At the same time it’s possible to start a project with a certain amount of emotional distance.
How do you describe your style?
I love to create a composition that challenges others.
In one word, what makes you unique?

Where do you find your collage material? What are your favorite magazines?
I work with my family pictures, and the family photos of my loved ones. I also like cookbooks.
Any advice for a newcomer collagist?
It’s important to keep track of and note your artistic process. Keep as much information as you can about the subjects you try to portray, the subjects that interest you, etc. as well as following the work of artists who like and inspired you.
