I discovered collage during my teenage years with punk music albums. The style was ever-present, and I loved its edgy and handmade aspect. Occasionally, I would try to create small collages, but nothing serious. I put that on hold for years, collecting images, magazines, and so on here and there.

Very early on, at about age 7. I used to cut out my mother’s “Clin d'Oeil” magazines to create works.

During a trip to the chalet, it was already very late and a friend suggested that I listen to music and write poetry using words cut out of magazines. Nourished by my career in digital arts, reflections with my entourage on the complexity of providing digital art with a physical body that is technically easy to decode for spectators, the idea emerged of making the codes of mediums waltz.

Quebec Collage is an initiative seeking to promote collage made in Quebec via the web, submission calls, workshops, and exhibitions.

Look Around - World Collage Day 2022

For World Collage day, Québec Collage asked to professional and beginner collagists from all over the world to create a collage concentrated inside the space of a circle by exploring the notions of fullness and emptiness.
